Celebrate The River!
Get ready for a wet & wild weekend Durango! Starting Thursday, June 10th 2010 through Sunday, June 13th 2010, The Animas River Days is finally here.
Featuring tons of events and tons of fun, this four day ‘celebration on and around the Animas River reflects and honors our connection to this vital resource flowing through the heart of our town’.
This event includes something for everyone from boating events, local food fare, arts & crafts, live entertainment, fly fishing demonstrations, to creative & interactive activities for the kids.
Visit conservation booths and learn about river protection as well as winning prizes for cleaning up our river on Sunday.
Don’t miss the Annual River Parade Saturday at 5pm, the floaters will be starting at 32nd and ending at Santa Rita Park. Participants will be in great costumes, showing off true river spirit of Durango.
After the Parade, head over to Ska Brewery for some grub, brews, & live music by ‘The Congress’. And Sunday, ‘Ryan and the Relics’ play live at Santa Rita Park!
