Cheers for Children to benefit Riverhouse Children’s Center
Riverhouse Children’s Center will be holding its 1st annual Cheers for Children Fundraiser to raise money for early childhood education. Riverhouse thrives in part due to the generosity of philanthropic leaders in La Plata County and all proceeds from Cheers for Children will directly benefit Riverhouse Children’s Center.
The event will be held on Saturday, June 26 from 5:30 – 8:30 p.m. at the Glacier Club north of Durango. Tickets are $50 per person or $90/couple. The evening will include tastings of over 24 wines from around the world, paired appetizers, live classical music and a silent auction including a stay and play package at the Glacier Club, a Telluride condo rental package, San Juan Symphony tickets and a guided fly fishing trip. The event is sponsored by the Glacier Club, Casey & Davlin, Pediatric Associates of Durango, Pediatric Partners of the Southwest and Blueline Reprographics. The Glacier Club is generously hosting the event which will include wine and appetizers. In addition, the Glacier Club has also donated a Social Membership (valued at $10,000) to be given away in a drawing to benefit Riverhouse Children’s Center. Donors can receive a free entry into the drawing for every $100 donated by June 26, 2010. Complete rules on the drawing are located on the Cheers for Children website.
Donations may be made online or mailed to Riverhouse Children’s Center, 495 Animas View Drive, Durango, CO 81301. A monetary contribution made to Riverhouse within the State of Colorado may be eligible for a 50% Child Care Tax Credit.
