City Continues Parks Fertilization and Weed Abatement

 

The City of Durango has contracted with Scott’s Pro Lawn for spring turf fertilization and broad leaf weed abatement. The fertilizer used is “Pro-Lawn Liquid” and the week control is “Vessel Broad-Leaf”.  This spraying is conducted to improve the quality of the City’s park system.

Monday, May 10, 2010 spraying will be done for the following Park:

• Riverview Complex – all

Tuesday May 11, 2010 spraying will be done for the following Parks:

• Riverfront/Iris
• Downtown Brown

Wednesday May 12, 2010 spraying will be done for the following Parks:

• Whitewater Park
• Santa Rita Park – all

Thursday May 13, 2010 spraying will be done for the following Park:

• FLC Softball Fields & Playground

These areas will be flagged until the application has been watered in.
