City Continues Snow Removal in Downtown Area

 

Durango, CO –   City street crews continue to plow and remove snow from the downtown area.  Beginning around midnight tonight, crews will be plowing Main Avenue and the side streets in the downtown area to clear as much snow as possible from city streets. 

The City would like to remind motorists that there is no parking in the downtown area between 2 a.m. and 5 a.m.  Because snowplow crews will be clearing the roadway from curb to curb, it is imperative that these roadways are free of parked vehicles.  Any vehicle parked in a restricted zone during those hours will be towed away at the owner’s expense.
