City of Durango Alert Update 4:00 PM

 

Durango, CO –   The updated information as of 4:00 p.m. is as follows:

• Transit services are running on their regular schedule. Details can be found by visiting www.DurangoTransit.com.
• City road crews will be clearing snow from the downtown area tonight beginning around 11 p.m. and working until 7 a.m. tomorrow morning. Downtown merchants are encouraged to shovel snow from the sidewalk directly into the gutter for removal tonight. The City would also like to remind motorists that there is no parking in the downtown area between 2 a.m. and 5 a.m. Because snowplow crews will be clearing the roadway from curb to curb, it is imperative that these roadways are free of parked vehicles. Any vehicle parked in a restricted zone during those hours will be towed away at the owner’s expense.
