City Offers Free Wood Mulch

Durango, CO:  The City of Durango will offer free wood mulch to City residents next Friday and Saturday (8/19-8/20) between the hours of 8:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. The wood mulch is for city residents only, who will need to provide proof of residency with either a City of Durango utility bill or driver’s license. City crews will be available with equipment to load mulch.  The wood mulch pile is located at the old Van Dal landfill approximately ¾ mile past the end of Tech Center Drive. This is a narrow gravel road, so please drive slowly.
