City Offices to be Closed Wednesday through Friday

Durango, CO –   City administrative offices will be closed on Wednesday, November 25th for an employee furlough day, and Thursday and Friday (November 26-27) in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday.  The following is the schedule for both days:
Wednesday, November 25th (Furlough Day):

 *   City administrative offices will be closed (including offices at City Hall, River City Hall, Police Station and Substation, Transit Center, Recreation Center, and Greenmount Cemetery)
 *   Recreation Center will be open regular hours
 *   Mason Center will be open for programs
 *   Chapman Hill Rink will have a modified rink schedule – see website for details
 *   Library will be closed, all library branches will be closed all week
 *   Durango Transit will run normal service
 *   Commercial and residential trash and recycling pick-up will be the normal schedule
There will be FREE parking at the meters in the downtown area

Thursday and Friday, November 26-27 (Thanksgiving holiday):

 *   City administrative offices will be closed (including offices at City Hall, River City Hall, Police Station and Substation, Transit Center, Recreation Center, Greenmount Cemetery)
 *   Recreation Center will be closed Thursday, but open on Friday
 *   Chapman Hill will be closed Thursday but open on Friday with modified schedule
 *   Mason Center will be closed with no gymnastics classes
 *   Library will be closed Thursday and Friday, but open on Saturday
 *   There will be no transit service on Thursday.  On Friday, two citywide buses will run from 6:48 a.m. until 6:50 p.m.  Free trolleys will run the normal schedule, however there will be no evening bus service.  The Mercy route will run limited morning and afternoon service.
 *   There will be no residential pick-up on Thursday.  Those on the Thursday schedule will be picked up on Friday
 *   There will be FREE parking at the meters in the downtown area.
