City Sponsors Christmas Tree Recycling at Santa Rita Park

Durango, CO:  The City of Durango will begin accepting Christmas Trees for recycling on December 26 through January 31, 2012.  Because there is no curbside pick-up of Christmas trees, residents may drop off their natural trees at Santa Rita Park.  Follow the signs in Santa Rita Park to the drop-off site near the large playground area.  The trees will be turned into mulch, so all ornaments and tinsel needs to be removed from the trees.
