City to Connect New Waterline near the Durango Mall

 

On Tuesday morning, July 13th, City personnel will be working with CRG Construction to connect a new water pipeline near the Durango Mall.   A limited water outage will occur between 5:30 AM and 11:00 AM on Tuesday, which is only anticipated to affect the Storyteller Theater.  

While unlikely, customers in the immediate area may notice temporary pressure variations or cloudy water immediately after the connection is completed.  If water clarity is affected, City water crews will conduct precautionary water sampling to ensure that the water quality meets State of Colorado requirements. 

Customers who would like to find out the status of the project, the outage, and any changes to the water pressure or quality may monitor the status at www.durangogov.org or may call the Public Works department at 375-4800.
