Development projects honored by Design Review Board

DURANGO, Colo. – Durango’s Design Review Board recently announced and presented the 2007 and 2008 Design Awards for development projects within the city of Durango. 

• Tom Caver accepted the “2007 New Construction Inside the Central Business District Award” for The Lofts at 1201, designed by Feeney Architect/Builder.
  
• Tom Duke accepted the “2007 Building Renovation Inside the Central Business District Award” for Backcountry Experience.
  
• Emil Wanatka accepted the “2007 Building Renovation Outside the Central Business District Award” for Tile/Light Art, on behalf of owner Kim Eisner and Dallas Reynolds of RLA.
  
• Tracy Reynolds accepted the “2008 New Construction Mixed-Use Building Award” for his building at East Third 3rd Avenue and College Drive.
  
• The Duthie Building at 1010 Main Avenue and Wildflower at 532 Main Avenue tied for “2008 Building Renovation Inside the Central Business District Award.”  
  
• Nature’s Oasis, designed by Janet Wiley Architects PC, won the “2008 New Construction Outside the Central Business District Award.”
