Draft SkyRidge Open Space Management Plan Available

Durango, CO –   In coordination with the City of Durango’s Natural Lands Preservation Advisory Board, a draft SkyRidge Open Space Management Plan has been prepared and is now available for community review and comment. The plan is intended to provide a framework for the sound stewardship of the approximately 184 acres of open space surrounding the neighborhood.

The draft plan will be presented for discussion and consideration at the next meeting of the Natural Lands Preservation Advisory Board to be held on August 13, 2009 at 5:00 P.M. in the Durango Public Library program room.

Interested residents are encouraged to attend the August 13th meeting. Comments and questions may also be provided via e-mail at [email protected], or by calling (970) 375-7315.  The draft plan can be found by going to the City’s website, www.durangogov.org and looking under “Items of Interest.”
