Durango City Council election results announced

DURANGO, Colo. – The City of Durango has announced the results of the 2009 City Council election:

• Christina Rinderle Thompson – 2423 votes
  
• Doug Lyon – 2389 votes
  
• Paul Broderick – 2133 votes
  
• Aaron Tucson – 1210 votes

Three City Council seats were available and the successful candidates are elected to four-year terms. Council-elect individuals will be sworn in on April 21, 2009 in City Council Chambers. For more information, call the City Clerk’s Office at 375.5010.
