Durango Public Library Offers a Workshop on Government Contracts

 

Durango, CO:  The Durango Public Library, in partnership with Southwest Colorado Small Business Development Center at Fort Lewis College, will be co-sponsoring a workshop on government contracts. “Meet Local Federal Contracting Officers: National Park Service and U.S. Forest Service plus Government Contracting at State and Local Levels” will be held on Thursday Oct 6th from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Durango Public Library. It will be led by Kathryn Lobdell, a business advisor at the Southwest Colorado Small Business Development Center, who specializes in Government Procurement Counseling and Contracts. She will discuss how businesses are able to sell their products or services to the appropriate local, state or federal governments, along with other ideas on how to work with Colorado State agencies and local government buyers. There is NO COST to attend, but seating is limited so register early.
