Durango Road Report for the Week of July 4th

The following is the road report for the week of July 4th, 2010:

Road Construction:

Florida Road Reconstruction

Traffic is one way westbound only from North College Drive to E 3^rd/15^th Street.  Motorists are encouraged to use CR 250 to connect to Florida Road eastbound. 

Colorado Avenue

In conjunction with the Florida Road Project Colorado Avenue will be closed to through traffic during the day and will be re-opened during the evening and night time hours.

East 8^th Avenue Waterline Installation

Traffic on East 8^th Avenue will be limited to northbound only.  Southbound traffic will be detoured to East 7^th Avenue and East 9^th Avenue.  One traffic lane in each direction will be opened in the evening hours.

Special Events:

The west 100 block (Main Avenue to Narrow Gauge) of 8th street will be closed to traffic from 3:00 pm to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday July 7th for Evenings on Eighth.
