Durango Road Report for the Week of November 23rd

Roads:
·        32nd Street Reconstruction
                        Crews will be working on 32nd Street between East 3rd and East 7th Avenues to replace the pavement.  Half of the street will be closed for construction, however, one lane of traffic in each direction will be open.  Work will continue until through next week.
·        Downtown Alley Paving
                        Crews continue replacing the pavement in the alley between Main and 2nd Avenues in the 800-1000 blocks.
Sidewalks:
·        Downtown Sidewalk Improvements – Phase 1
The first phase of the Downtown Sidewalk Improvements project continues on sidewalks on the east side of Main Avenue between College Drive and 7th Street through November 23rd.
Special Events:
·        Nov. 26, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. – Turkey Trot – Drivers should expect runners on Rim Drive, Fort Lewis Drive, Goeglein Gulch Road, Hillcrest Drive, and CR 238.
·        Nov. 27, 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. – Singing with Santa – Main Avenue will be closed between 5th and 12th Streets for the procession.
