Durango Road Report for the Week of November 9th

Roads:
·        32nd Street Reconstruction
                        Crews will be working on 32nd Street between East 3rd and East 7th Avenues to replace the pavement.  Half of the street will be closed for construction, however, one lane of traffic in each direction will be open.  Work will continue until November 23rd.
·        Downtown Alley Paving
                        Through the week of November 23rd, crews will be replacing the pavement in the alley between Main and 2nd Avenues in the 800 to 1000 blocks.
Sidewalks:
·        Downtown Sidewalk Improvements – Phase 1
The first phase of the Downtown Sidewalk Improvements project has begun and will affect sidewalks on the east side of Main Avenue between College Drive and 7th Street through November 23rd.
·        8th Street Sidewalk
Work continues on the sidewalk in front of the U.S. Post Office on 8th Street.
Special Events:
            Monday, November 9th
·        Expect slow traffic on State Highway 550/160 at the intersection with Santa Rita Park Drive between 10 a.m. and noon for the Blue Star Memorial Dedication.
            Wednesday, November 11th
·        Main Avenue will be closed from 11
