Durango, CO – The Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad begins service to The Great Pumpkin Patch on October 15, 2011. The train departs the Durango depot for a two and one-half hour round-trip adventure on October 15, 16, 22 & 23, 2011.

Passengers will be greeted by Charlie Brown, Lucy and Snoopy upon arrival at the most sincere pumpkin patch. Passengers will enjoy hayrides, live musical entertainment, a hay bale maze, games, temporary tattoos, bounce houses, trick or treating, and each child will select the perfect pumpkin to take home. Children are encouraged to wear their Halloween costumes. New this year, adults will receive a goody bag with local deals and offers, as well as some D&SNG treats.

Trains depart the Durango depot at 10:00 am and 11:30 am. An additional trip at 1:15 pm is offered on Saturday, October 22. Deluxe-class seating in the San Juan car is $34* for children (ages 2-11) and $42* for adults. Standard-class tickets are $24* for children (ages 2 -11) and $32* for adults.
