Durango Welcomes The Perennial Plate: Real Food Road Trip

Chef brings syndicated food documentary to Southwestern Colorado

Daniel Klein, the chef from weekly documentary series The Perennial Plate, visits Durango this week on his cross-country tour, filming, hosting a cooking demo at Durango Natural Foods and cooking a dinner at Cocina Linda.
 
Building off the first season’s success, Chef Klein has set off from Minnesota on this “Real Food Road Trip” to discover great culinary stories around the country.  For this six-month journey, Klein and his vegetarian cameraman will continue their ambitious quest to farm, hunt, cook, drink and eat with local food heroes from Minnesota to Louisiana, Oregon to Maine, Georgia to Colorado to California…and back. Wednesday, June 8:  Collaborative Chef Dinner

Thursday, June 9:  Cooking Demo at Durango Natural Foods
6pm Durango Natural Foods hosts Chef Daniel Klein as he demonstrates a few recipes from the bounty of Durango and answers questions about the weekly series.
