Food Tax Rebate Program Available for Residents

 

Durango, CO – The City of Durango is now accepting applications for the Food Tax Refund Program. Residents with a total household income for 2011 of $35,350 or less may qualify for the Food Tax Rebate.

One $24,750 $ 50.00

Two $28,300 $ 98.00

Three or more (dependents) $31,850 $120.00

Four or more (dependents) $35,350 $144.00

Only residents of the city who were full-time residents within the city limits, on December 31, and for the full twelve (12) months of 2011, are eligible to file a claim for themselves and all eligible members of their household.

Applications are available at City Hall and the Senior Center. The application is also available on the City’s website at http://www.durangogov.org/forms.cfm and the form must be submitted by July 1, 2012.
