Fort Lewis College turns into a farm for Barnyard Days on April 8, 2010
DURANGO – The Westerner’s club is once again hosting Barnyard Days for preschool, kindergarten and 1st graders in the region on Thursday, April 8th from 9 am to noon on the Fort Lewis College campus.
In addition to animal exhibits, there will be several educational exhibits on fiber spinning and weaving, grinding wheat, learning where your grocery store products come from, fire safety, and making seed balls. Though the event is geared towards school children, anyone is welcome to attend. Attendees should park on the north end of campus near the football field and walk south on Skyhawk Drive toward the Clocktower.
