Kids – Move N’ Groove at the Recreation Center on Monday Afternoons!

The Durango Community Recreation Center will offer a new children’s dance and gymnastics class on Mondays for the next four weeks. Move ‘n Groove will teach children, ages four through six, the basics of beginning gymnastics and dance. This hour-long class will include a warm up, dance and gymnastics exercises, and games that teach kids flexibility rhythm. Participants will also develop spatial awareness and learn basic dance and gymnastic vocabulary through movement activities. Move ‘n Groove provides a positive environment for children to express themselves while learning from an instructor Alexa Nargi, who has been trained for years in gymnastics and dance.

Move ‘n Groove starts on Monday, July 18 and will continue for three additional weeks. The drop-in class takes place from 3:30 – 4:30 p.m. on Monday afternoons in the aerobics room at the Durango Community Recreation Center. The class is free with a paid admission to the Durango Community Recreation.
