The Durango Public Library continues its Community Cinema Series on Wednesday, November 10 with a screening of Deep Down – “Deep in the Appalachian
Mountains of eastern Kentucky, Beverly May and Terry Ratliff find themselves at the center of a contentious community battle over a proposed mountaintop removal coalmine.” The film begins at 6:00 p.m. and will be followed by a panel discussion featuring local scholars and specialists.
