Library Participating in FRED “Fathers Read Every Day”
Durango, CO – The Durango Public Library is participating in FRED “Fathers Reading Every Day”, a four-week program sponsored by the Colorado Department of Human Services that encourages dads to read to their kids every day during the month of November. Dads can pick up their reading logs along with instructions at the Children’s Desk in the Library. All reading logs that are completed and submitted will be entered into a drawing to receive special prizes. For additional information, contact the library at 375-3380 and ask for the Children’s Desk.
FRED “Fathers Read Every Day” is funded by a grant that was awarded to the Colorado Department of Human Services from the Responsible Fatherhood Initiative.
