Library Seeks Submissions for Teen Literary Magazine

Durango, CO –  The Durango Public Library is seeking submissions for its teen literary magazine Spare Thoughts!  Ages 12 through18 are invited to submit poetry, short stories, essays, and black and white artwork.  Entries are due at the Library by Thursday, November 5th at 5:30 p.m. and may be submitted in paper or electronic format.  Please make a copy if turning in a paper submission as it will not be returned.  Email submissions may be sent to [email protected].  Entries will not be edited; however, because of limited space within the publication the Library reserves the right to limit entries to those that provide a broad spectrum and are appropriate for a teen audience.  Several copies of the magazine will be added to the Library’s collection and will be available for checkout.
