Open House for Proposed Road Improvements on County Road 234

Durango, CO – The La Plata County Public Works Department will host an open house to discuss proposed road improvements to County Road 234. These improvements will increase safety by widening the driving surface and paving the shoulders. The north end of the project starts approximately one-half mile north of the County Road 237 (Horse Gulch) intersection, and extends south to the intersection with County Road 225, a distance of one and one-half miles.

The open house will be held on January 26th from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the Three Springs Conference Room located upstairs of the Information Center at 175 Mercado Street, Durango. The open house will be an informal meeting to facilitate the exchange of information and ideas regarding the proposed safety improvements and future reconstruction of County Road 234.
