Pennies for the Playground FUNdraiser to Benefit Riverhouse Children’s Center

Pennies for the Playground is a FUNdraiser to raise funds to directly support the building of three age appropriate playgrounds for local non-profit Riverhouse Children’s Center. This campaign is a fun and easy way for our entire community to make a difference in the lives of children. Even kids can help, because every penny counts.

Pennies for the Playground is one part of a much larger capital campaign to support the building of a new state of the art child-development center. Riverhouse Children’s Center is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit child development center providing childcare and early education services for children from six weeks through five years old. Since 2002, Riverhouse has had the privilege of bringing quality early childhood education and care to Southwest Colorado. Serving over 600 children since its inceptions, Riverhouse has had a direct impact on the community by helping these children take the first steps towards long-term success.

And now you can help ensure that Riverhouse remains a sustainable and valuable community resource. Bring your change to one of our change collection locations in town, make a donation online or join us for our Kick Off Party! The Kick Off Party will be held on Wednesday, February 29th at Alpine Bank (1099 Main Avenue; Durango, Colorado) from 9am to 12pm. Bring your change in and get entered to win fun door prizes.
