Popular Family Fall Festival is This Saturday at Three Springs

Halloween Fun for All Ages from 11 am – 2pm

Durango, Colorado – For five years, the Three Springs neighborhood has held one of the area’s largest fall/halloween festivals. This year, the popular Three Springs Fall Festival will be held this Saturday, October 29th from 11 am – 2pm at Three Springs Plaza and the surrounding neighborhood.

According to Three Springs, hundreds of costumed children and adults attended last year’s festival, and weather-permitting, organizers are gearing up for an even bigger turn-out.

Included in the 4 hours of family fun are daytime door-to-door trick or treating, a coloring contest, free hotdogs, popcorn and water, a bouncy house, music and more – all sponsored by The Tierra Group.

The Three Springs business district also goes all out with businesses along Mercado Street hosting their own individual events to add to the festivities. Anytime Fitness brings back the Monster Mash Fun Run which starts at 11:30 am and is broken down into four age groups for costumed-running fun. Digs Restaurant presents a Cookie Walk. Alpine Bank puts creativity on the table with Cupcake Decorating, and Dr. Rothchild, DDS will host this year’s face painting.

Organizers are asking festival goers to give back to the community by bringing canned-food donations to Manna Soup Kitchen or by making a donation at collection jars located at the event.
