Recreation Center Closes for Annual Maintenance

Durango, CO:  The Durango Community Recreation Center will be closed Monday, August 22 – Sunday, August 28 for annual repairs and maintenance of the building. The entire facility, with the exception of the Leisure Pool, will re-open on Monday, August 29 at 5:30 a.m.  The Leisure Pool will require an extended closure time due to installation of the new pool toys and will re-open no later than Thursday, September 1.

The City of Durango is committed to providing high-quality facilities for the community and will be completing some major repairs, along with annual maintenance of the facilities during the week.  The Center’s leisure pool area will undergo a major facelift during the week, as new pool toys are scheduled for installation.  We apologize for any inconvenience and thank the community for its patience, while the repairs are being completed.
