Recreation Center Closes for Annual Maintenance

Durango, CO – The Durango Community Recreation Center will be closed Monday, August 20 – Saturday, August 25 for annual repairs and maintenance of the building. The entire facility, with the exception of the aerobics room, will re-open on Sunday, August 26 at 9:00 a.m. The aerobics room will require an extended closure due to flooring repairs and will re-open on Tuesday, August 28 at 5:45 a.m.

The City of Durango is committed to providing high-quality facilities for the community and will be completing some major repairs, along with annual maintenance of the facilities during the week. The Center’s leisure pool area will undergo a major facelift during the week, as new pool toys are scheduled for installation. We apologize for any inconvenience and thank the community for its patience, while the repairs are being completed.
