SASO’s three gun Law Enforcement Turkey Shoot
Durango, CO (10/15/2009) – Sexual Assault Services Organization (SASO) will be hosting their 4th Annual Three gun Turkey Shoot fundraiser open to all retired and current Law Enforcement officers. SASO, a private, non-profit organization, has been providing free, confidential services to sexual assault survivors in the area for thirty years.
The event takes place Saturday, November 7th at the Durango Gun Club Shooting Range. This event includes handgun events (22 target minimum), rifle events (20 target minimum), and shotgun (12 target minimum) precision events, and offers trophies and prizes to top performing law enforcement agencies and individuals. Past participants include: Farmington, San Juan County New Mexico, La Plata County Sheriff, Durango PD, and ICE/Homeland Security as well as others. Registration begins at 8:00 and the tournament starts at 9:00.
Cost is $35 pre-register and $45 at the door and lunch is provided.
