Schedule for City Parks Fertilization and Weed Abatement

Durango, CO:  The City of Durango has contracted with Scott’s Pro Lawn for spring turf fertilization and broad leaf weed abatement. The fertilizer used is “Pro-Lawn Liquid” and the week control is “Vessel Broad-Leaf”.  This spraying is conducted to improve the quality of the City’s park system.

Wednesday September 14, 2010 spraying will be done for the following Parks:

• Downtown Brown
• Riverfront/Iris
• Rotary

Thursday September 15, 2010 spraying will be done for the following Parks:

• Hillcrest
• Skyridge

Friday September 16, 2010 spraying will be done for the following Parks:

• Animas City
• Memorial
• Rio Vista Triangle

These areas will be flagged until the application has been watered in.
