Durango, CO – The Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad is again the proud sponsor of the Snowdown Balloon Rally Mass Ascension on Saturday, February 2, 2013. As part of the celebration, the D&SNGRR is running the Snowdown Balloon Rally Train. The train will stop in the Animas Valley for the colorful hot-air balloon mass ascension, offering passengers the chance to view the mass ascension from the comfort of heated train coaches. If they choose, passengers can also get off the train for 15-20 minutes to get a better view of the balloons.

After the balloons drift off or land, the train will continue on to Cascade Canyon for a short break by the Animas River before returning to Durango.
