Treasurer’s Office to be Closed from

September 26 through September 30, 2011 for Training

Durango, CO – The La Plata County Treasurer’s Office is transitioning to an updated and more robust version of their computer system which will require extensive re-training of staff.  The La Plata County Treasurer’s Office will be closed to the public from Monday, September 26 through Friday, September 30, 2011 for training on Eagle Treasurer.  “This new system will allow for a better flow of information between the Treasurer’s Office and the Assessor’s Office and will have many more capabilities than our previous version,” explained Ed Murray, La Plata County Treasurer.  

Any payments due to the Treasurer’s Office during the last week of September will be accepted through Monday October 3, 2011.
