US 160 Wolf Creek Pass will be closed temporarily December 16

US 160 Wolf Creek Pass will be closed temporarily tomorrow, December 16, from 10 A.M. to 2 PM, to allow an environmental contractor to clean a fuel tanker spill that occurred in November. This closure is located on the east side, mile point 179.5, east of the tunnel.

The contractor will open the road to single-lane, alternating traffic each hour, on the hour, during the project work hours.
