Volunteers Needed for Bell Ringing

The red kettle holiday bell-ringing season begins the week of Thanksgiving. The La Plata County service extension unit of the Salvation Army is looking for volunteer bell-ringers Monday November 21st through the 27th, and again the month of December. Two-hour daytime shifts need to be filled at a variety of locations in Durango, Ignacio and Bayfield. You can volunteer individually or with a friend or family member by calling 749-2017.
