DURANGO, Colo. – Purgatory at Durango Mountain Resort is reaching the home stretch of the 2008/2009 winter season and Mother Nature returned for a season ending performance. Fresh powder fell on Purgatory starting Wednesday morning and more snow is in the forecast. Closing day is Sunday, April 5.

Closing weekend festivities include live music from rock/funk band Aladocious, playing Purgy’s, April 4 and 5, 2 to 5 pm. On the heels of the group’s CD release, Which Way 2 Utopia, Aladocious is on tour rocking cities throughout the Southwest.

Richard Malcolm from Duke City Fit wrote about the CD “You won’t find cliché in these tunes, either verbal or musical. What starts like ear candy develops quickly into more satisfying fare. Songs that are catchy at first unfold into deeper territory on successive listening. And you’ll want to listen again. And again.”

Closing weekend lift ticket prices are $49 for adults, $39 for students/seniors, with children’s passes, $26. For further information visit www.durangomountainresort.com.
