Women’s Resource Center: Girls Night Out

Girls Night Out celebrates friendships, extraordinary women of La Plata County 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 24, at Blue Lake Ranch

Girls Night Out is a fun-filled evening of laughter and friendship in celebration of the Extraordinary Women of La Plata County.

The 2011 event, held at Blue Lake Ranch, attracted a crowd of more than 250 women from all walks of life, from 8 to 80, and raised more than $30,000 for WRC programs.

We produce a program for the event, and all sponsors receive an ad — great exposure before women who are engaged and interested in their community and who support businesses that support their causes.

The fourth-annual Girls Night Out will be on Friday, Aug. 24, to take advantage of the warmer weather and later light. No doubt the change will attract another sold out crowd.
