A NASA-funded worldwide research project on global water supplies included a slice of the San Juan Mountains last month, thanks to the Silverton Avalanche and Snow Studies Center. Durango TV News team Deb Uroda and Brian Gill recently snowshoed into the research site to learn more about the project.
