Community invited to FLC Homecoming events beginning October 5

 

DURANGO – “Building the Future” is the theme for Fort Lewis College’s Homecoming 2009 celebration. The theme is a nod to the changing face of campus with two major construction projects-the new student union and the new biology wing-currently underway. It’s also a nod to the mission of FLC to build better people out of the students that attend here.

 

The Homecoming festivities are open to everyone, public included. As always, the highlights of the week will be the Homecoming Parade and Bonfire on Friday night and the Homecoming Football Game vs. Adams State on Saturday.

 

Also on Friday and Saturday will be the FLC Alumni Reception and Alumni Awards Banquet. All Skyhawks everywhere are welcome to join in.
