Durango Public Library Adds Early Literacy Stations
Durango, CO – With financial support from the Library Advisory Board, the Durango Public Library has purchased two Early Literacy Stations. These specially designed computers are packed with educational games and activities for children up to six years old and their parents or caregivers.
Each computer includes dozens of award winning software titles in English and Spanish. From interactive storybooks to math, music, and science programs, the Early Literacy Stations have something to satisfy any learning interest. The colorful interface is easy for kids to navigate, and features an index to help adults find the best activities to suit their child’s age and interests.
Durango Public Library offers thousands of children’s books, knowledgeable staff, and enriching events for all ages. Library programs are free and open to the public.
