Durango Public Library Holds Second Annual Teen Writing Contest

Durango, CO: Calling all writers between the ages of 12 and 17! In honor of National Poetry Month, the Durango Public Library is holding their second annual Teen Writing Contest. There are two categories, short story and poetry, and writers may submit one entry per category. Submissions will be divided into two age categories for writers from 12-14 and 15-17.

Entries will be accepted from Thursday, March 1 through Saturday, March 31. You may drop off your entry at the Library or email it to [email protected]. Winners will be notified by Saturday, April 7. Then join us on Tuesday, April 10 from 4:30-5:30 for the awards ceremony, complete with prizes, refreshments, and readings from the winning entries.
