Fort Lewis College names Richard Miller as new director of Institutional Research

 

DURANGO – The Fort Lewis College Office of Academic Affairs is pleased to announce that Richard A. Miller has accepted the position of executive director of the Office of Institutional Research, Planning, and Assessment. 

 

Richard is currently completing a three-year contract building a countrywide database for the United Arab Emirates, in partnership with national and international authorities, institutions of higher education, and Sungard/Banner.  Richard has served as a research consultant with Sallie Mae/Noel Levitz, as well as Institutional Research and Planning director at several colleges and universities.  Richard holds a master of arts in Public Policy Studies from the Harris Graduate School of Public Policy Studies at the University of Chicago, where his focus was economics and statistics.

 

Richard will begin full-time work at Fort Lewis College on January 1, 2010, but will be on a consultant contract for two 10-day periods during the Fall Semester 2009.
