LEGO Robotics Demonstrations at the Durango Public Library

Durango, CO: The Durango Public Library will host Alpine Educational Associates for a hands-on demonstration of LEGO Robotics on Wednesday April 18th and Tuesday April 24th from 3-5:30pm in the Library’s lobby.

Using a few sensors and motors and a central processor, fully programmable robots can be built in an amazing variety of configurations. More than just a high-tech toy, the Lego NXT system can be used to do real science and form the basis of many data collection exercises from elementary school through college level courses. Stop in and take a look at these amazing LEGO robots!
