Girls Group Begins April 6th Opportunity for 11-14 year olds

 

Are you an 11 to 14 year old girl or a parent of one? Imagine an opportunity to explore issues of self-esteem, body image, healthy relationships, assertiveness, and diversity with your peers in a safe, supportive environment. A new Girls Group begins Tuesday, April 6. It’s FREE. Snacks and fun are provided.

 

This girls’ group will take place Tuesdays from 4 to 5:30 p.m. at Durango High School. Using a combination of Girls Circle and Young Women’s Lives curricula, this 8 week group is facilitated by staff from Alternative Horizons and San Juan Basin Health Department.
