La Plata County Releases Proposed Licensing Regulations for Medical Marijuana for Consideration by the Board of County Commissioners on December 13, 2011

Durango, CO -La Plata County has released proposed Licensing Regulations for Medical Marijuana which, if adopted, will apply to optional premises cultivation and medical marijuana infused products manufacturing facilities.  The proposed licensing regulations are available on La Plata County’s web site (www.co.laplata.co.us) by following a link located on the home page.

Written public comments on the proposed Licensing Regulations for Medical Marijuana are being accepted through 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 8, 2011. Comments may be submitted either by e-mail to [email protected] or by mail to the La Plata County Board of County Commissioners, 1060 E. 2^nd Avenue, Durango, CO 81301.

A public hearing to consider the Licensing Regulations for Medical Marijuana has been scheduled for Tuesday, December 13, 2011 at the Board of County Commissioner’s regular Business Meeting at 10:00 a.m. in the La Plata County Commissioner’s Meeting Room, 1060 E 2^nd Avenue, Durango, CO.
