Fresh Snow Fall Blankets Durango, Colorado

Durango, CO: The National Weather Service predicted that the Durango area would receive snow and Mother Nature has responded. As of 9 am, the storm has delivered over 6″ of new snow and continues to covers Durango at the rate of 1″ per hour.

The forecast is calling for an addition snow into the night. The steady snowfall has created a winter playground with Purgatory at Durango Mountain Resort reporting a base of 33″.
