Title VII Native American Education includes literacy support through Cultural Literacy Enrichment, collaboration with district-wide reading teachers, school-to-home connections, monthly parent meetings, outreach services/resources, tutoring, family feasts, guest speakers/mentors, community events, fundraisers, and honoring Native American high school graduates with Pendleton blankets and eagle feathers at the graduation banquet. As you can see, Title VII provides many opportunities for our Native students and families, plus providing cultural awareness for our community.
