Durango’s newest activity is an all-inclusive brewery tour designed to take you through the incredibly interesting brewing process and then to sample the fruits of the labor with a beer tasting at each of our 4 breweries. Start your tour with included transportation as your friendly guides pick you up at your chosen hotel / accommodation option. From budget hotels / motels to deluxe cabins, condos or vacation homes, we have something for every budget and interest. Once everyone is picked up, you are on your way to Ska Brewing Co., Durango’s largest brewing company which has just been upgraded, after surpassing the 15,000 barrels mark in 2010 for the first time, from the nation’s largest “Micro-Breweries” to one of the smallest “Regional Craft Brewery” designations by the American Brewer’s Association. After touring the brewery facilities, sit back and take in some of the award-winning brew tasters.
Once complete at Ska, your guides will take you on to Steamworks Brewing Co, Carvers Brewing Co. and Durango Brewing Co, (our 3 more traditional micro breweries) so that you can sample all of Durango’s unique flavor. From hearty seasonal ales to mellow lagers to rich dark brews, there is something for every beer lover to please every palate!
