Durango Holiday Markets 2022

Every year, various Durango venues host holiday markets featuring home baked goods, handcrafted gifts, and showcase local artists. These not only provide an excellent source for gift buyers, but also support local organizations and artists!

Starting this weekend, three markets will be held Saturday, November 19th. The Methodist Women United in Faith will hold their annual bazaar from 8-3 with proceeds going towards local, national, and international missions. The Artisans’ Holiday Gift Show will be held at the Strater Hotel from 9-4 featuring an eclectic blend of jewelry, fabric art, fine gourds, painted eggs, fused glass, ornaments, and more. The first weekend of December brings more bazaars to town starting on Friday, December 2nd. The Holiday Arts & Crafts Festival begins at the La Plata County Fairgrounds. Here there will be an array of hand/homemade items perfect for gifts or for your own home. Your favorite returning artists and new ones will be offering their best homemade art and goodies.
