WASTEWATER TESTING REFLECTS POSSIBLE RISE OF COVID-19 LOCALLY
Monitoring of wastewater from the Santa Rita Water Reclamation Facility in Durango, has indicated that COVID-19 may be on the rise locally. COVID-19 genetic material can be detected in wastewater as early as four to seven days before positive tests and hospitalizations.
Take precautions to protect yourself from contracting the virus. Free KN95 and surgical-grade masks are available at SJBPH front desks. Five masks will be provided per person.
